Christian Education for Adults
Mount Zion provides adults with a full range of opportunities to expand their knowledge and faith through education.
It is anticipated that additional courses, particularly small group classes, will be formed throughout the year. We encourage everyone to take advantage of as many of these classes as possible. In addition, we welcome suggestions or recommendations for Christian education opportunities. Through study and gathering in fellowship with other Christians, we learn what it takes to become better disciples for Jesus Christ. If you have any questions, or would like to express interest in any of these Adult Education opportunities, please contact Pastor Malcolm, the listed leader or POC, or Sam Hergert.

Parenting Class
The Parenting Class is studying a book entitled “Confronting the Controversies: Biblical Perspectives on Tough Issues” by Adam Hamilton. Each week the class will tackle controversial issues that our kids will face including topics such as Prayer in Public Schools, Separation of Church and State, and Creationism vs. Evolution. The series includes an instructional DVD to cue discussion, and then explores different positions and experiences of class members. The group is supportive, lively and dynamic, bringing many insights and experiences to bear on tough issues.
