Special Needs Support Group

Do you or someone you know have a child with special needs? The Mt. Zion Special Needs Support Group provides fellowship, resources, and encouragement to parents of children with special needs. Open to all families within our congregation and community who are coping with special needs, this group meets 3-4 times each year to share stories, wisdom, and "lessons learned".
Lunch provided, free childcare available.  To arrange childcare, please contact Barb Jacques at barbjacques@verizon.net or by phone at 301- 854-2324 ext 26.

Pancake Supper

Come join Mt. Zion as we celebrate Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day. It is the first day of Lent, the season of fasting and prayer. We will be serving pancakes, sausages, and fruit toppings from 5pm - 7pm in the Fellowship Hall. Oxfam Hunger Banquet

TV Game Show Night

Come join us in the Fellowship Hall at 6 PM for TV Game Show Night! We will be playing some of the most popular game shows in TV history including I’ve Got a Secret, The Newlywed Game, Family Feud, and Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? Game show participants will be eligible to win some great prizes. Plenty of food will be available for purchase including Pork Barbecue sandwiches, pizza by the slice, hot dogs, nachos, and much more so bring the family for dinner and an evening of TV game show entertainment!

Breakfast with St. Nick

Come and join us for “Breakfast with St. Nick”. We will have two seatings. The first will be from 8:30 – 9:30 and the second from 10:00 – 11:00. For reservations please call Betty Cashmark at 301-725-5233. The cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children aged 3-10. Children 2 & under are free. You will be able to take pictures of your child with St. Nick. There will also be a Secret Santa Gift Shop where your children will be able to shop with members of the youth group and purchase gifts for their family and friends. Come join the fun.
