Sunday School

Teaching is only about once a month on average, sometimes twice if others are out of town. We have a curriculum already in place, and it’s easy to follow. Is God whispering that you should do this? If so, just show up at the senior high Sunday school classroom - in the basement of the parsonage on Sunday mornings at 9:40. Please mark your calendar NOW for the 3rd grade Bible Retreat!! "Bibles, Bread and Baptism" will be held Friday Nov. 9 at 7:00; your children will be given their very own Bible on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Fall Sunday School teachers are needed for the 2nd/3rd Grade Sunday School just "one" time a month. Please contact Jena Meredith if you can help with this ministry.

The Small Group Ministry and Adult Education teams are happy to announce the formation of a new Adult Sunday School class which is now meeting each Sunday at 9:45 am in Room 205 (previously the 3 year old Sunday School Classroom, located next to the Nursery). Using a “topic-based” discussion format, this class focuses on a different subject each week and is ideal for visitors, guests, as well as long-terms members looking for small group fellowship.

"Bibles, Bread, and Baptism" will be from 7-8:30 on Friday, November 11. Bibles will be presented to 3rd graders on Sunday, November 13. Please RSVP to Jena Meredith at jenameredith@hotmail.com if you have a 3rd grade child.

Our 6th-12th grade Sunday School is looking for a Sunday School Coordinator to assist the Youth Director on Sunday Mornings. The SSC will welcome new Sunday School attendees and their parents, take weekly head counts, make sure our amazing youth get into class on time, and assist teachers with any last-minute needs. All that is required is a big smile and a heart for the youth of Mt. Zion! Please see Kate if you are interested in assisting our youth in this position.
