Cub Scout Pack 702

Pack 702

Pack 702 scouts are from the Howard County area with our recruiting emphasis on Pointers Run Elementary School in Clarksville. The Pack is part of a continuing scouting program, which includes Boy Scout Troop 702 and Explorer Post 702. Though related, the boys are not obligated to go to these Troop and Posts. They generally spend the first half of their second year as WEBELOS deciding which Troop they will be joining after completing WEBELOS.

Venture Crew 616

Maryland Search and Rescue (aka Venture Crew 616) is fully certified as a professional Search and Rescue program with the Appalachian Search and Rescue Conference, Inc., (ASRC) based in Charlottesville, Virginia.

MSAR 616

Joining is easy... the only requirement is age. As a BSA Venture Crew members must be at least 14 years old. Both males and females are welcome. Those over 21 are considered adults and advisors. MSAR is run similarly to a Boy or Girl Scout troop. It is run by the youth-members who are elected or appointed to various offices.

General meetings are on Monday nights. They are for all members and visitors, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. . We meet in the fellowship hall in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 12367 Rt. 216 (Scaggsville Road), Highland, MD 20777 (the intersection of Rt. 216 and Browns Bridge Rd).
