For those that may not be aware, and as a reminder for others, members of Mt. Zion UMC are eligible to participate in an electronic transfer program of tithes and contributions through Raymond James and Associates, Inc. This option is available for contributions to the OPERATING FUND only. Of course additional contributions by cash or check can still be accepted at anytime for the operating fund, as well as all other giving funds at Mt. Zion. No more need to remember your envelope, or fretting because you left the checkbook at home. Transactions are handled safely, securely and timely and there is no charge to you or the church for participation in this program. Instructions for participating in this program are listed below. Please fill out the ACH Transaction Request form and return it to the church office, Attn: Belinda Norton, Treasurer.
Instructions for enrolling in the program are as follows:
1. Under the section Periodic Transactions Requested:
Check off the Periodic Bank Drafting Box.
Frequency - Select either weekly, monthly (choose day of the month) semi-monthly, quarterly,
semi-annually or annually, and fill in the transfer amount and start date.
Please note that the minimum amount required by Raymond James for each transaction (whether weekly, monthly, etc.) is $25. There is a 10 day waiting period once Raymond James receives your request form; please continue to give through your normal means until your request has been processed. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, comments or concerns. I will be happy to help you with your request form and am available at the church office from 8 am to 1 pm daily.
