What Makes A Strong Church

Dr. Connar will be preaching a three part series during the month of February on "What Makes a Strong Church?"-ten vital strengths of a local congregation.

We will look at where Mount Zion is strong and moving boldly ahead, and we will consider where we need to perfect our mission and ministry.

Each member will want to evaluate how he or she is a part of the strength and growth of our church, or where we want to personally grow in order to contribute to a spiritually invigorated congregation.

Two books helped inspire this sermon series:
Beyond the Ordinary: Ten Strengths of U. S. Congregations by Cynthia Woolever and Deborah Bruce
The Pastor's Guide to Growing a Christlike Church by William Willimon.
